Idea Toscana – Cosmetics
The company Tuscanyidea s.r.l. was established in 2002 with the noble intention to produce organic and natural cosmetic products of excellent quality. The basic idea was to combine the cultural and natural beauty of Tuscany with the fine work of Tuscan handicraft manufacturers. Idea Toscana organic cosmetic products are exclusively made from natural ingredients and 95% of the raw natural ingredients are certified as organic. No genetically modified (GMO) components are used. They have Natrue and Bioagricert certifications.
Idea Toscana natural cosmetics do not contain SLES (sodium laureth sulphate), SLS (sodium lauryl sulphate), parabens, silicon, mineral oils or isothiazolinons, artificial colourings or synthetic fragrance essences. No animals were used to test the products; they are all dermatologically and microbiologically tested and made by using tuscan IGP extra virgin olive oil and rose oil from organic farms.
During the production of Idea Toscana cosmetic products, the company follows the manufacturing and quality regulations of organic tuscan IGP extra virgin olive oil, as well. Accordingly, the organic olive oil is added from its original packaging to the cosmetic products in the last phase of production, after the other ingredients have cooled off. This way, the valuable components of the olive oil can be preserved. There are several other cosmetic companies in the world using vegetable oils, and among them, olive oil. However, the olive oil is often refined using chemical procedures to improve transparency, scent or stability, and is, in this way, bereft of its beneficial attributes.
