On 29 June 1440, the decisive battle fought on the plain of Anghiari saved Florence from the Milanese invasion and, with it, the Renaissance itself. In gratitude, Florence granted Anghiari the right to use the famous Florentine lily as a symbol. This special historical connection inspired the Busatti Giglio collection.
