Description
GIGLIO BICOLORE BUSATTI FABRIC – A TWO-TONE TRIBUTE TO FLORENCE’S LILY
Giglio Bicolore is one of Busatti’s most iconic textiles – a two-tone reinterpretation of the classic lily motif that symbolizes the historic bond between Anghiari and Florence. The original Giglio was born from a momentous event: in 1440, the Battle of Anghiari safeguarded Florence and helped preserve the spirit of the Renaissance. In gratitude, Florence granted Anghiari the right to bear its lily emblem — a gesture still honored today in this timeless design.
Woven in 100% linen, Giglio Bicolore reimagines the traditional pattern in refined color combinations like Red/Taupe or Blue/Taupe, bringing both heritage and contemporary sophistication to any space. Its generous 280 cm width makes it ideal for table linens and decorative applications in elegant interiors.
Handcrafted in the Busatti family’s Tuscan mill, this fabric represents the essence of Italian textile artistry — cherished by interior designers and discerning clients around the world.
