1999
This is where our story begins. A story of us — and of Tuscany. Have you seen the Italian film Il ciclone (The Cyclone)? The one where stunning flamenco dancers shake up the peaceful life of a Tuscan village? We had. On the same day, in the same cinema — though not yet sitting side by side. At the Bem Cinema, where we each took our seat, neither of us could have known that Leonardo Pieraccioni wasn’t just directing a film — he was quietly directing our fate. Months later, when Gergő walked into my rented room — which happened to belong to his family — his eyes caught the film still I had pinned above my bed: Il ciclone. That moment brought a smile to both our faces. And perhaps it stirred something in our hearts as well.
A few weeks later, we were already traveling together in a little Fiat. Not to Tuscany — not yet — but we were already on our way. Together.
2005
We fulfilled five years of dreaming on a hot, beautiful June morning as we drove toward San Gimignano. The air shimmered — partly from the lack of air conditioning, but mostly from anticipation. This was our first journey to Tuscany. By the time we arrived, the sun had already dipped below the hills. The lights of agriturismos blinked on one by one, until finally, Mario’s estate appeared before us, lined with cypress trees — our world for one week (plus one extra day). We visited the filming locations of Il ciclone: Poppi, Stia, Laterina, Florence. Walking through the scenes of our favorite movie, we relived the earliest moments of our love. And the sweetest coffee we ever had? We drank it on the square in Stia. Right there, right then, we knew: not a year would pass without us returning.
And so it was — we fell irrevocably in love with Tuscany.
2010
We got married. Where else, if not in the picturesque town of Pienza? We celebrated the most beautiful day of our lives in the place where it had all begun — with friends, Italian guests, broken language, and overflowing hearts. Loving each other — and the land that forever united us.
2019
Toscaneria was born. From a dream, a love, a feeling for life. Our motto With love from Tuscany isn’t a marketing slogan — it’s our memory. Our story. We brought home what we found there: beauty, quality, and deeply human stories. Busatti, Idea Toscana, La Molina, Pure Stagioni – Benvenuti in Ungheria!
From then on, we weren’t just travelers. We became bridge-builders — between cultures, landscapes, and people.
2021
Our portfolio welcomed a new member: Biagiotti Pienza. The Biagiotti family’s timeless, hand-forged ironwork can be found all over Tuscany — and now, it adorns Hungarian homes as well.
A piece of Tuscan heritage that remains alive, strong, and eternal.
2023
More and more unique collaborations took shape, where Tuscan craftsmanship met Hungarian stories.
A true milestone was the introduction of the Busatti Zwack Unicum, Busatti Furmint, and Busatti Sisi collections — three distinctive textile tales, celebrating both Hungarian culture and Italian tradition.
2024
The latest member of our portfolio has arrived: Acqua di Bolgheri — blending Tuscan herbal traditions with the world of natural fragrance.
We remain faithful to our mission: to share the Tuscan lifestyle, cultural heritage, and nature-inspired quality — here at home, in a uniquely personal way.
