The Limoncello fabric by Busatti is inspired by the lemon and the distinctive Italian liqueur made from its peel. This remarkable fruit already appears in the frescoes of Pompeii, suggesting that it was known and appreciated in the Roman Empire. Its vivid yellow colour, textured peel and fresh, tangy flavour have made it equally prized as an ornamental plant and as a cultivated fruit.

Capri, Amalfi and Sorrento all claim to be the birthplace of limoncello. Busatti favours the version made from Sorrento’s femminiello lemon and dedicated this distinctive fabric to the celebrated liqueur. Woven from 100% cotton, this 310 cm-wide jacquard fabric is an excellent choice for tablecloths, napkins, table runners, placemats and kitchen towels.
